Redefining Home

Our Mission

At Parkmybnb, everyone deserves a place to call home.

Rising rents and housing prices are pushing many people to consider living in alternative shelters like mobile dwellings; while owning and maintaining property is becoming more expensive each year forcing some long term residents to move.

Our mission is to connect these two types of home owners and enable them to help each other with affordability and sustainability as a focus.

With Parkmybnb, we are trying to:
 - enable property owners earn extra income by renting out their vacant land
 - connect mobile dwellers (those who live in tiny homes, RVs, van/bus conversions and even cars) with property owners who want to rent their vacant land out

This will allow mobile dwellers to live in a safe environment, while giving property owners a way to maximize their vacant lands earning potential, with added security and possible labor exchange as bonuses.

We hope you will join us in this mission to create a more affordable and sustainable housing future for all!

What is the impact we are trying to have?

Research shows that tiny house and mobile living have a positive societal and environmental impact. By reducing the space mobile dwellers occupy, they use fewer resources. A significant number of such homes are off grid and self sustainable. By promoting such living, we can reduce the impact we have on the planet as our population sizes continue to grow.
A significant number of farm and ranch owners are also looking for help, in terms of labor and extra cash. Being able to rent vacant land on their property to mobile home owners will allow them to earn income and labor, while helping those who need a place to live!

In addition to the above, IDC expects
mobile workers will account for nearly three-quarters of the U.S. workforce by 2020*.  The remote workforce is only increasing with the rising gig economy, and a large number of them will be in tiny houses. They will need a safe place to call home. Whether you're a home owner with space in your driveway or behind the garage, or a farm owner who needs a steady flow of extra cash and labor to help out on the land, there are hard working people across the country hoping to pay you for a small space to call their home. Our research shows that average rent varies between $300 - $500 per month, depending on the type of home and location.

How can Parkmybnb benefit me?

If you are a property owner with vacant land to rent(i.e willing to let someone live on your property), you will need an account with us to list your space.  Please sign up to host here.

If you are a mobile dweller (i.e. you live in a tiny house, van, RV or other conversion), you do not need an account to browse but will need one if the property wants to do rental on Parkmybnb. See the current spaces we have to offer!

If you need, our Help section has 1 minute videos that can help you create an account and host your space!
